A New Adventure Begins

For the past three years, my beloved and I have been in prayer about being part of the recent church plant our home church is involved in. Our Youth Pastor along with his family, three other families from our church and another family from a church up north were lead to start a church in Hawaii. Let's just say it's been quite amazing to hear of God's gracious provisions for these families. Simply amazing!

As I mentioned above, we've been in prayer about God's direction with this relocation. After all, we are uprooting our family to move to a place where we've never been and where we have no family at all! Recently God had allowed us to visit Hawaii for the first time EVER! The visit wasn't your typical "vacation". Our intentions to go was to find places to live, interview for jobs and see what it was like to actually live like locals there. Of course, being that it was only my love and I on this trip, we decided to take a day or two to visit Honolulu and Waikiki. In between "sight seeing" and reuniting with friends, we had appointments to look at homes and hubby had two interviews with potential employers.

God answered many prayers during and after that trip. Although we didn't find a place to live we were able to narrow down the city of our new home. As for employment, we're waiting to hear back from one of the potentials. Regardless of the outcome, we fully trust our future in God who's already been there.
