Day 10

A new week has arrived, which means it must be Monday.  Poor, Monday!  It's always the day that everyone dreads. It means the weekend is over and we're back to our regular schedules.  Some of us, like hubby, go off to work to earn that dollar. Others head to school, like my chitlins, to expand their horizons.  As for me, it's another day to catch up on the chores that I didn't do over the weekend....like laundry :D

Yay for laundry!

Is there ever a bottom to this pile? LOL...in all honesty...I'm thankful that I have laundry to do! No really, I am!  A wise, older woman once told me that we ought to be thankful when doing laundry, it means that we have clothes on our backs. And when we have lots of laundry to do it means that we have loved ones to care for.  So yes, I am thank for laundry :D

I wish I could take a picture of the pile of clothes for my Daily Snaps but that would be really embarrassing. So today's Daily Snaps is a picture of my baby girl doing her homework on the floor.  She said the funniest thing while doing her work. She needed to place a cut out spider throughout a picture of a room and describe to me the location of the spider. For example, "The spider is above the window. The spider is under the couch." Then she placed the spider to the right of the door. So I asked her:

Me: "Where is the spider?"

MJ: The spider is east of the door.

Me: OK, good. Is there another way to say that?

MJ: No...I don't know.

Me: Look at your hands. What hand is this (pointing at her right hand)?

MJ: East hand??

LOL...Oh, Sunshine, you brighten up my day!
