Day 16

After service, we took the Moodys to Northshore to experience Matusomoto's. They loved it. Next we attempted to go to Ali'i Beach but there were warning signs out. The waters were fierce! Really high waves. So we decided to leave Ali'i and head to Giovanni's where we indulged ourselves in garlic shrimp scampi. YUUUUUUMMMMM!!!! Afterwards, we headed to Mokule'ia. Boy was it windy! I was actually a little scared because the wind was so strong and the waves were even bigger! We spent a few moments there then we took our SUVs off roading, pretty close to the end of that side of the island. Hubby and the kids had a blast but I didn't like it too much. All I kept thinking was we're going to get stuck in this mud, it's getting dark and a storm is approaching. Yikes! Thankfully we made it out without a hitch. On our way home, we see this tree in the middle of the road. There's no way for us or move it so what do we do? Turn around and take another road. After a quick potty break, we said our goodbyes to the Moodys and headed home. What an adventurous day!
